Shifa International Hospital Celebrated the accreditation of the International Pharmacy Practice Residency Program (IPPRP)

The event was organized to recognize the exceptional contributions and efforts of the Shifa team in achieving the successful accreditation of our 1-year Pharmacy Residency Program by the ASHP.

Dr. Obaidullah (Director Pharmacy Services – Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan – DRAP), and Sardar Shabbir Ahmed (Secretary QCB, Senior Drug & Food Inspector, Islamabad, President PPA) graced the occasion as the guests of honor.

Salwa Ahsan, Chief of Pharmacy (Shifa), and Rehan Anjum, Residency Program Director (RPD – Shifa) welcomed the participants and highlighted the need and importance of pharmacy workforce capacity building and Shifa’s journey towards successful ASHP accreditation.

Shifa leadership including Dr. Manzoor H. Qazi, Director Board Shifa and Ex-CEO, Mr. Taimoor Shah, Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Arif Malik, Director Planning and Compliance (Surgical Services & OR), Dr. Nayar Mahmood Consultant Nephrologist and Chair Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee (P&TC – Shifa), Dr. M. Farrukh Consultant Radiation Oncologist and co-chair P&TC and nursing management warmed the gathering with their motivating presence.
