Spiritual Counseling and Chaplaincy
Our qualified Islamic scholars and chaplains are available to provide spiritual support for patients and families. They offer guidance, prayer, and comfort during times of illness and stress.
Preparation of Ramadan Workshops & Seminars
We conduct workshops, lecture, seminars end sessions for staff and community members. These sessions aim to enhance understanding of key Islamic practices in healthcare contexts.
Access to Prayer Facilities
The hospital has facility of five-time prayer for patients, families, and staff. Each patient room is thoughtfully equipped with prayer mats, copies of the Holy Quran, and other essentials, ensuring that spiritual needs are met alongside healthcare.
Islamic Reminders
Shifa Islamic Center offers two daily reminders to enrich your spiritual journey. The first reminder, held after Fajr, features reflections from Hadith, while the second, after Maghrib, focuses on insights from the Quran. These reminders aim to deepen understanding of Islamic teachings, with a special emphasis on applying them to daily life, particularly in matters related to health and wellness. In addition, numerous verses from the Holy Quran and Ahadith of Holy prophet SAW are displayed on the hospital walls, serving as constant Islamic reminders for spiritual reflection and comfort.
Azan Facility for Newborn Baby
We have successfully integrated the Adhan (Islamic call to prayer) into our newborn care procedures, with explicit consent obtained from parents during their hospital admission. This initiative allows families to welcome their newborn with a special Islamic tradition, fostering a spiritually enriching start to life.
We understand the importance of maintaining religious observance in healthcare settings. Our team ensures that all aspects of patient care respect Islamic ethical principles, including:
- Upholding the dignity and modesty of patients.
- Ensuring privacy during medical treatment.
- Facilitating the observance of prayer times and fasting.
