Duration of Stay (For Patient & Donor)

• Patient and donor will be asked to get admitted in the hospital 4 days before the surgery for pre-surgery check-up
• Normally the surgery takes approx. 6 hours in Operation Theater
• On average, patient and donor needs to stay approx. 7 to 10 days at the hospital after the surgery

Patient Care after Discharge from the Hospital?

After the discharge from the hospital, patient is called for follow-up visits to check the recovery progress through clinical examination, diagnostic testing, and drug monitoring.
